You can access the weekly drop-in sessions in Pollards Hill Library every Friday between 4.30pm and 6.30pm and you will be able to ask questions there. There are other drop-in sessions at Merton’s other libraries.

In Pollards Hill, Akasi Pharmacy (formerly Tanna’s) offers walk-in vaccinations (flu and Covid) for those who are eligible and for whom it is recommended. You can also ring them on 020 8764 6107 to ask any questions.
The COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for people at increased risk from COVID-19. You may be offered a COVID-19 vaccine if you:
- Are aged 65 or over
- Are pregnant
- Are aged 6 months to 64 years and have an increased risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19 because of a health condition or treatment
- Live in a care home for older adults
- Are a frontline health or social care worker
Who should have the flu vaccine?
A flu vaccine is given to people who:
- Are over 65 (including those who will be 65 by 31st March 2025)
- Have certain health conditions
- Are pregnant
- Are in long-stay residential care
- Receive a carer’s allowance or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick
- Live with someone who is more likely to get a severe infection due to a weakened immune system such as someone living with HIV, someone who has had a transplant, or is having certain treatments for caner, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis
